Another EBook Book Reader Manufactured By The Computer Giants Acer In Line To Take On Amazon
Acer Inc., no slouch when it comes to competing in the notebook arena, have announced their plans to be in the ebook book reader arena later this year.
Acer senior manager Jim Wong, leader of the company's IT Products group, outlined the strategy all through an interview with Bloomberg at Acer's HQ in Taipei.
The day before Apple's purported entrance into the tablet sweeps-a model that would serve e-book readers in addition to others-Wong also said the company will furthermore present "hundreds" of apps online, programs which can support Google's Android program, at the present running on several Acer products, as well as handling Microsoft's Windows OS.

Acer also has the Apple "iSlate"-if it appears-to contend with. "We're developing something, and we will observe what occures" J.T. Wang, Acer's president, maintained in the report. "We are sure to work either in a Windows world or within Google's distinct OS space."
