Alternatively, use positive reinforcement to reward good behaviors. Dachshunds love physical attention as well as goodies as rewards for good behavior.
Dachshund training is a trying experience. It takes time, energy and a great deal of determination from you. Most importantly don't let your adorable little pup get the better of you. The moment you give in to him, you lose the battle and it can be hard to regain that ground as the dog grows older.
