- A three-quarter cup of melted butter

- Two eggs

The items for the filling are the following:

- A stick of butter and an additional 3 tablespoons

- 3 cups of powdered or confectionery sugar

- Half a cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

- One point half teaspoon of vanilla extract

- Four to five tablespoons of milk, lukewarm

Instructions for the cake:

1. Preheat the micro-wave to a 350F.

2. Grease a 23cm cake pan.

3. Put in first four ingredients in a large bowl.

4. Melt the butter with a low heat, and add this to the bowl with the dry, mixed ingredients.

5. Mix at moderate speed with an electric mixer until you get a smooth mixture.

6. Put the mixture into the cake pan and cook until done. You would need to poke it with a toothpick to know, but 35-45 minutes are normally enough for a cake to be done.

7. Let it cool. After it has cooled, you have the choice of slicing the cake horizontally to make 2 layers, or bake another to make a tall, double layer-cake.

Instructions for the frosting:

1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

2. Divide this mixture into three. One part for the top of the first layer, one part for the top of the cake, and last part to be spread around the cake.
