If you go the dual processor mother board route, though, get as much system board as you can. Different ones are rated for different speeds and varying chip sets. As with pretty much everything computers, get more than you require today. Because a few months down the road you may require it! And if you are spending all this money on a dual processor system board, you may as well do it right.

One more consideration -- when you purchase the CPUs, make sure they have the same voltage ( vital) and also the same speed. 2 processors with different speeds will slow each of them, as they try to juggle the processor load.
