Behavior Adjustment - rather than stopping your pup from chewing on your things, you can train it to chew on the right things, like a plaything and you can praise the pup when it starts chewing on it. This will help teach your puppy that chewing the toy is good and the other thing is not.
Keep Your Pup Busy - besides redirecting your pup from the stuff that you don't want them to chew, you also need to keep them from getting too bored. Pups will chew anything just to keep themselves active, even if they're not teething. You can avoid this by getting them plenty of exercise and playing when you're at home. You can also leave them toys when you're not home.
Crate Training - if leaving them a toy to play with while you're not at home isn't enough, you can consider crate training them. This will limit their access to the home.
Aversion Sprays - you can use a spray such as Bitter Apple or Cayenne which is safe and humane. This will help them easily associate the spray with the items that they're chewing and stop them from doing so.
Besides using these methods to stop your pup from chewing things, you should always keep in mind not to scold your pup or hit them for any reason. This is will only mislead them and they will likely never find out what they did wrong.
Be Consistent
You also have to be consistent if you want to stop puppy chewing. When you go out, make sure that you don't leave clothing or stuff toys around for them to chew on. Remember, you have to stipulate the rules and make sure that your pup follows them.
